We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join Port’s Frontend Infrastructure team - the group responsible for building the foundations that power all frontend development at Port.

At Port, our mission is to help platform engineers and developers worldwide build better internal developer portals. The Frontend Infra team sits at the core of that mission, ensuring our architecture, design system, tooling, and best practices enable every team to deliver reliable, scalable, and beautiful user experiences.

As part of this team, you’ll design and implement cross-cutting systems and libraries that make every product team faster and more consistent. You’ll shape our frontend architecture, improve developer experience, and define how Port builds and ships modern web applications at scale.What You’ll Do

• Build and evolve Port’s design system, ensuring visual consistency and strong engineering foundations across the product.
• Lead frontend architecture initiatives to standardize patterns, improve modularity, and evolve shared tooling.
• Develop internal tools and libraries that enhance developer experience, testing reliability, and delivery speed across product teams.
• Partner closely with designers to translate design principles into scalable, reusable UI components.
• Act as an enabler to product teams, guiding them on best practices, helping debug complex issues, and ensuring consistent implementation quality.
• Mentor engineers and participate in reviews and architecture discussions to raise the technical bar across the organization.
• Contribute to documentation, guidelines, and processes that strengthen Port’s frontend culture.
  
  

Who You’ll Work With

You’ll collaborate closely with the Design team to bring cohesive, elegant interfaces to life, and with product teams to ship them through shared infrastructure, patterns, and tools. Your work will directly influence how every frontend engineer at Port builds, ships, and scales the product experience.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional frontend engineering experience.
• Deep expertise with React and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, component design, and state management.
• Proven experience with design systems and reusable UI libraries.
• Experience with modern build tools (Vite, Webpack) and frontend testing frameworks (Playwright, Cypress).
• Strong focus on code quality, maintainability, and developer experience.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Fluent in English and Hebrew.
