We are looking for a DBA Team Lead to own and lead our database domain.

This role combines hands-on technical leadership with people management, while serving as the technical authority for all the databases' reliability, performance, and architecture, and across the organization.

You’ll work closely with engineering, SRE, Devops and support teams, dealing with massive-scale data systems in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the database domain end-to-end, including architecture, performance, scalability, monitoring, migrations of databases such as Neo4j, PostgreSQL, and Redis in the AWS environments for optimal performance, cost efficiency, and overall Stability.
• Manage and mentor DBA team members, including technical guidance, prioritization, and professional development.
• Support critical production flows and participate in incident analysis and prevention.
• Improve visibility and observability using tools such as DataDog, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Write and maintain scripts for automation and operational tasks.
  
  

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience as a DBA in production environments.
• Proven expertise in PostgreSQL (additional databases such as Neo4j are a plus).
• Proven experience in people management
• Experience with AWS environments.
• Hands-on experience with performance tuning, migrations, partitions, and scaling of databases.
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with production incident management tools such as PagerDuty or similar

• Experience with Redis, Temporal, Clickhouse and additional data technologies.
• Exposure to Data Lakes, Snowflake, Databricks, and modern data platforms.
• Familiarity with AI-driven systems and large-scale data pipelines.
