Hardware Development Engineer | Ashdod, Israel | IAI

Elta Systems is seeking a Hardware Development Engineer to join our engineering and systems division. This role focuses on developing advanced electronic modules and FPGA logic designs.

The position includes:

• Responsibility for developing complex electronic modules including processors and FPGA components

• Broad collaboration with development, manufacturing, procurement, and system teams across the division

• Developing FPGA logic designs using VHDL/Verilog

• Working in a hardware and firmware development environment

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering – required

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electronic circuit development and board design – required

• Experience in FPGA logic design – significant advantage

• Proficiency in VHDL and Verilog – significant advantage

• Software experience in Python or C – advantage

• Strong self-learning skills and ability to work effectively in a team
