Senior Software Engineer – Chemical AI SaaS Platform

Agrematch is a data-driven biotech startup based in the Rehovot Science Park, developing a proprietary AI platform for chemical discovery. We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to help design and build our scalable SaaS platform.

About the role:

You will work across backend and frontend to develop production-grade systems that power large-scale molecular analysis. This role involves close collaboration with data scientists, DevOps, and engineers, building APIs and user-facing tools for real-world AI/ML applications in biotechnology and pharma.

Key responsibilities:

* Design and implement scalable SaaS system architecture

* Develop backend services and APIs (Python / FastAPI)

* Build frontend features using React or similar frameworks

* Own features end-to-end, from design to production

* Deploy and scale systems using Docker, AWS, and CI/CD

Qualifications:

* 5+ years of software engineering experience, including SaaS platforms

* Strong Python backend experience and modern frontend exposure

* Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS), containers, and databases

* Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Nice to have:

* Experience integrating ML/AI models into production

* Background in life sciences, biotech, or scientific computing
