Backend Engineer (Python) - Data Group

SeeTrue is a well-funded AI startup building next-generation threat detection for aviation security. We’re looking for a Backend Engineer (Python) to join our Data group and build the infrastructure that drives our ML and analysis workflows.

You’ll design and ship production-grade services and infrastructure, and develop tools that connect our models, datasets, and products. Your work directly impacts how fast we can experiment, train, and evaluate AI at scale.

• Build backend services, APIs, and Pipelines for ML workflows and Algorithm NN development.
• Develop reliable integrations with internal systems and third-party ML platforms (ClearML, Voxel51, etc.).
• Design and maintain scalable pipelines and job orchestration across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Implement robust data handling, versioning, and processing logic for training and inference workflows.
• Own systems end-to-end: design, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.

• BSs in Computer Science or equivalent degree 
• 4+ years of experience as a Python backend/software engineer.
• Strong Python fundamentals and clean, maintainable coding style.
• AWS cloud services knowledge (Athena, Glue, etc..) - Advantage
• ClearML experience - Advantage
• Solid experience with databases, SQL, and building data-centric services is a must
• Fast learner who can work independently and solve real engineering problems without hand-holding.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
