Join the Engineering & Development Center at the Aviation Division (IAI) and take part in the development of advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software for aerospace applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop multidisciplinary, object-oriented CFD software

• Perform code optimization and Python coupling for CFD tools

• Develop analytical and numerical methods, particularly the Finite Volume Method, for solving partial differential equations and validated code development

• Conduct numerical analysis of PDEs and ODEs in aerodynamics, compressible fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics

• Maintain and improve existing CFD software

• Perform software verification and validation

• Provide technical support to customers

• Ensure compliance with existing programming standards

• Produce clear technical documentation and technical publications in English and Hebrew

Requirements:

• M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics – mandatory

• Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics – significant advantage

• Minimum 5 years of experience in CFD software development, including customer support and maintenance – mandatory

• Strong proficiency in FORTRAN, C, C++, UNIX/Linux, and scripting languages

• Very high level of English proficiency – mandatory
