Sayata is looking for a Full-Stack Developer to help build and scale our platform - working across backend services and APIs as well as user-facing React applications. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering to deliver reliable, intuitive experiences for brokers and internal teams in a modern AWS-based environment.

• Develop and maintain backend services and REST APIs in Python (FastAPI/Flask)
• Build responsive, high-quality UI components and workflows using React (TypeScript, Hooks)
• Partner with Product and Design to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Own features end-to-end, from design through deployment
• Integrate frontend logic with backend APIs, ensuring solid data flows and error handling
• Work with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, SQS, API Gateway, and CloudFront
• Maintain strong code quality through clean architecture, reviews, and engineering best practices
• Optimize performance across both frontend and backend layers
• Improve observability using logs, metrics, and monitoring
• Help evolve the platform architecture as we scale

• 3+ years of full-stack development experience
• Strong Python experience (FastAPI or Flask preferred)
• Strong React experience with TypeScript, Hooks, and modern frontend patterns
• Solid understanding of AWS cloud services
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Familiarity with databases such as Postgres, MySQL, or DynamoDB
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and system design skills
• Comfortable working independently and in cross-functional teams

• Experience in insurtech, fintech, or workflow-heavy B2B platforms
• Experience optimizing frontend performance
• Familiarity with GraphQL (not required)
• Understanding of common authentication flows and backend integrations
