JOB SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE

We are seeking a business-oriented Data Analyst to join our expanding Data team in Tel Aviv. This role sits within the Portfolio Evaluation team and is core to our business and to our underwriting and acquisition decision-making.

In this role, you will have the chance to make a significant impact by leveraging data to drive decision-making, enhance our acquisition strategies, and contribute to the ongoing growth of our portfolio. You will work at the intersection of data, business, and underwriting, partnering closely with Portfolio Managers and Data Science. You will evaluate assets, challenge assumptions, and help shape pricing and acquisition decisions, apply creative problem-solving skills, and drive business growth through data-driven strategies. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct deep exploratory data analysis of portfolios and assets to support pricing and acquisition decisions.
• Perform ad hoc analysis to test business assumptions, underwriting logic, and research hypotheses.
• Partner with the Data Science team to interpret model outputs, provide business context, and refine pricing approaches.
• Help shape and standardize evaluation processes and analytical pipelines as deal volume and complexity scale
• Translate complex analyses into clear, succinct decision materials that support portfolio and pricing decisions.
• Develop a strong end-to-end understanding of the business, from portfolio acquisition through recovery performance.
• Contribute to market expertise, introduce new ideas, and continuously improve evaluation practices.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• 3+ years of experience as a Data/Business/Investment Analyst, in a business-critical, decision-support role
• Proven experience in analyzing data, identifying patterns and root causes
• Strong analytical judgment with a curious, critical-thinking mindset.
• Strong Python skills for data analysis and for building and maintaining analytical workflows
• 3+ years of experience in SQL and advanced spreadsheet modeling.
• Strong Excel skills, including complex functions and data manipulation.
• Working experience working with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI), exploring, validating, and communicating insights.
• Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting analytical insights clearly and concisely to senior stakeholders; fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Experience in asset/portfolio management, underwriting, or fintech is an advantage.
