About the Role

The Missiles & Space Systems Division is looking for a Board Design Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the definition of avionics and ground system architectures (design discussions, reviews, and surveys).
• Design and develop electronic units and boards in accordance with IAI product development processes.
• Prepare, maintain, and manage hardware specifications (SPEC) for electronic units and boards.
• Lead product development activities with subcontractors, including work plan management, design reviews, schedules, and system integrations.
• Define hardware–firmware–software integration documentation and actively participate in integration activities.
• Take part in final system integrations and experimental testing.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering – mandatory.
• At least 8 years of experience in digital board design (CPU, DDR, FPGA components) and analog board design for complex systems, from specification and schematic design support through integration and transfer to production, including subcontractor management – mandatory.
• At least 8 years of experience in hardware–firmware–software integration – mandatory.
• Experience in writing design and system documents, editing specifications, interface documents for software teams, and summary reports.
• Knowledge of Power & Signal Integrity simulations.
• FPGA development experience, including coding, simulations, and lab integration – an advantage.
• Strong system-level thinking with the ability to design hardware architecture within complex projects.
• Experience in supporting qualification and compliance testing through transfer to production.
