We are looking for a DBA / Data Engineer with a strong development orientation to join our team in a full-time, on-site position in Kfar Saba.
This is a hands-on role, focused on designing and implementing data solutions as part of application-level systems. It is not a traditional infrastructure DBA position. The role involves development work, system integrations, and data interfaces, with close collaboration with development teams and product managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Extensive hands-on work with SQL at an advanced level as part of system development
- Designing and implementing database schemas, data models, and data flows
- Developing and supporting interfaces and integrations between systems
- Working closely with APIs, including understanding data structures, performance implications, and data flow
- Collaborating with development teams on data architecture and system design
- Supporting product managers by translating product requirements into scalable data solutions
- Optimizing query performance and data processing pipelines
- Troubleshooting complex data-related issues in production environments
- Working with replication and data synchronization solutions
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a DBA / Data Engineer role with a strong development focus
- High proficiency in SQL and the ability to work with complex logic
- Experience designing data models for application-based systems
- Hands-on experience with APIs, integrations, and system interfaces
- Ability to work closely with development teams and product managers
- Strong system-level thinking and problem-solving skills
