We’re Hiring | Software Security Architect | Ashdod

Join ELTA Systems’ Software Division as a Software Security Architect for defense applications and play a key role in designing and implementing advanced cybersecurity solutions for weapons systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Define cybersecurity architecture for software in weapons systems.
• Specify and implement software protection solutions.
• Support development processes and integrate cybersecurity measures into system development.
• Advise on implementing software security solutions across different systems.
• Guide and mentor development teams, define processes and solutions to meet international standards (e.g., NIST, PCI-DSS, ISO27001).
• Plan and define software protection requirements, analyze cyber threats, define security constraints, procedures, and logging standards.
• Mentor development teams and lead continuous security improvements.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Software Engineering, Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Communications Engineering – mandatory.
• Relevant certifications in communication/cybersecurity (e.g., CISA, CISM, CISSP) – significant advantage.
• At least 3 years of experience in software engineering within cybersecurity – mandatory.
• Proficiency in C++, C#, and Python.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, database protection, monitoring, and alerting systems.
• Experience with requirement and specification documents for software security.
• Knowledge of communication protocols, network security, firewalls, attack prevention, and system configuration.
• Understanding of methodologies, technologies, standards, and tools for cybersecurity, including cryptography basics.
