About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Data Scientist with strong expertise in NLP, GenAI, and LLM-based systems. This is a high-impact, high-pace role where you will design, build, and deploy AI-driven features used by millions of travelers.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end DS projects: research → modeling → deployment → monitoring

• Build GenAI/LLM-based features (chat, tagging, search, recommendations, translation )

• Develop classic NLP pipelines where needed (tokenization, similarity, classification, clustering)

• Work with structured and behavioral data to uncover insights and guide product decisions

• Prototype and implement features such as recommender systems and ranking algorithms

• Deploy and maintain your solutions in real production environments

• Collaborate closely with Product & Engineering to deliver fast, high-quality outcomes

• Move fast — experiment, test, iterate, and ship

What we’re looking for (Must-Haves)

• 4+ years of experience in Data Science / Machine Learning, with focus on NLP

• Hands-on experience with GenAI / LLM models and prompt engineering

• Strong Python skills and deep knowledge of the DS ecosystem (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn)

• Strong SQL skills (experience with SQLAlchemy is a plus)

• Experience deploying models or pipelines to production

• Solid understanding of ML/DS theory (optimization, evaluation, embeddings, modeling)

• Comfortable working at high pace, making quick decisions, and iterating fast

• Experience with Git and modern development workflows

• Curiosity, product thinking, and desire to make real impact

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Elasticsearch, vector search, embeddings

• Experience with recommender systems

• Startup or early-stage ownership experience

• Familiarity with data pipelines or ML engineering practices
