What You Will Be Doing

As an Electro-Optics Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting electro-optics design, engineering, and simulation of packaging solutions.
  • Performing comprehensive data analysis of fabricated optical components.
  • Analyzing and interpreting optical measurement results.
  • Identifying and documenting fabrication challenges.
  • Validating optical outputs against defined requirements.
  • Developing and executing optical simulations.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional R&D teams to ensure integrated solutions.
  • Preparing technical presentations and reports to communicate findings and strategies.
  • Contributing to the development and refinement of optical design strategies.


What We Need to See

  • MSc in Physics: Electro-optics or Applied Physics.
  • Deep understanding of geometric and physical optics, as well as lens and optical systems design.
  • Proficiency in physical optical simulations.
  • Advanced scripting and simulation skills in Python and MATLAB.
  • Expertise in optical simulations and high-level mathematical capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with electro-optics laboratory experience.
  • Excellent collaborative and communication abilities, with fluent English proficiency.


Ways to Stand Out

  • Experience with Zemax and/or Lumerical software.
  • Knowledge of signal processing.
  • Skills in image processing.
  • Advanced experience with lab instrumentation.
