About the Role

We’re looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain our AWS infrastructure and architecture, as well as our CI/CD ecosystem, as we onboard new customers and scale globally. You will collaborate with backend, data, and field engineering teams to ensure high reliability, security, and smooth deployments across a multi-tenant environment. Expect real ownership and the opportunity to shape our platform end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Load Balancers, Secrets Manager, etc.).

• Support and optimize multi-tenant environments across dev/stage/prod.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

• Implement and create IaC using Terraform / CloudFormation / CDK.

• Work with Docker and containerized applications.

• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch/ELK).

• Ensure security best practices across IAM, networking, secrets, and patching.

• Participate in incident response and drive reliability improvements.

• Work with development teams to improve deployment workflows and developer experience.

• Contribute to AWS cost optimization and backup/DR strategies.

Requirements

• 3+ years as a DevOps / Cloud Engineer / SRE in production environments.

• Strong hands-on AWS experience (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Load Balancing; plus advantage for RDS/Aurora).

• Solid Linux knowledge and shell scripting skills.

• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with IaC (Terraform / CloudFormation / CDK).

• Experience with Docker and containerized applications.

• Practical understanding of monitoring, metrics, and logging.

• Good knowledge of DNS, HTTP, TLS, routing, and load balancing.

• Ability to take ownership and work effectively in a fast-paced startup.

• Strong English communication skills.

• PostgreSQL/Aurora operational experience.

• Familiarity with multi-tenant architectures.

• Experience in robotics, drones, or IoT systems.

• Security hardening knowledge (CIS, scanning, reviews).

• Experience with Python, Node.js, Go, or similar for tooling.
