We are looking for a FinOps to join our SASE DevOps Group who has a passion for living and dreaming cost effective development lifecycle [example: scale, performance engineering, availability and Micro services], who has a desire to work with developers, teach them and guide them, in addition to deep technical understanding of the budget constraints and will be able and responsible to follow the budget, investigate cost anomalies and more.

We use an interesting and mixed technology and services, we are mostly located in AWS but we have significant 3rd parties which we must manage their cost as well (like Datadog, Atlas, and more as examples).

In this position you will use your expertise in phyton and TF, you will have to perform automated actions and work on implementation with R&D of cost effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and manage our FinOps infrastructure in order to automatically reduce daily cost.
• Get an experience with FinOps tools, develop dedicated processes, and have a great opportunity to grow and create impact.
• Adapt and take on more responsibilities and own your share of the product.
• Work with different R&D groups, business, and other teams at Check Point.

Qualifications

• FinOps with 3-5 years of experience as a FinOps engineer in big project and high billing and usage.
• Familiar and certified with AWS and IaC.
• B.Sc. Graduate/student in Computer Science
• A problem solver, capable of finding creative solutions and getting things done.
