About The Role

The DevOps team at HUMAN builds and operates a large-scale, globally distributed production platform that processes hundreds of thousands to millions of requests per second, under strict latency and high-availability requirements. This mission-critical environment presents constant engineering challenges across performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.

We operate tens of thousands of nodes across multi-region cloud environments, with a strong focus on performance, efficiency, and FinOps best practices.

We’re looking for an experienced DevOps Team Lead with hands-on expertise in Kubernetes and at least one major cloud provider (experience with GCP is a plus).

A passionate, highly technical leader who combines strong DevOps engineering capabilities with the ability to grow, mentor, and empower a team. Someone who thrives in large-scale environments and enjoys tackling complex infrastructure problems.

What You'll Do

  • Modernize and evolve our globally distributed, massive-scale infrastructure.
  • Lead by example, mentor engineers, and champion technical excellence.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the system reliability by identifying systemic weaknesses and proposing preventative architectural or process changes.
  • Shape team culture and support onboarding of new engineers.
  • Influence the performance and reliability of systems serving millions of users every second.

Who You Are

  • 4+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer.
  • 2+ years of experience leading a DevOps team.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale distributed infrastructure.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Tech Savvy - eager to learn and adopt new technologies.
  • Deep experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS / GCP / Azure) - GCP an advantage.
  • Strong Kubernetes expertise.
  • Experience with IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Software engineering background — an advantage.
