The Role

We’re looking for an R&D Lead who wants to build, lead, and shape the core of our product. You’ll guide the engineering team, stay hands-on with development, and take ownership of major technical areas.

You’ll influence everything from architecture to GenAI innovation, automation, and the systems that power our customer onboarding experience. As the company grows, you’ll have a clear path into a senior leadership role.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor a small, talented engineering team.
• Stay hands-on with development and key technical decisions.
• Own major areas such as scalable architecture, GenAI features, automation, and internal tooling.
• Collaborate closely with Product on planning and delivery.
• Improve engineering culture, development processes, and execution.
• Shape the future of R&D at Zoma, with room to grow into roles like VP R&D or Head of Innovation.

About You

• Experienced Full-Stack Tech Lead or Engineering Manager.
• Strong skills in React.js, Node.js, Python, AWS, EKS, and GenAI.
• Strategic thinker who designs for scale.
• Still enjoys hands-on development when needed.
• Curious, innovative, and always exploring new technologies.
• Self-starter who moves fast, owns outcomes, and communicates clearly.
• A team player who builds trust and knows how to balance perfection vs. business needs.
