Join the Software Division at ELTA Systems as a Data Scientist and contribute to the development of advanced AI, Machine Learning, and GenAI solutions for critical defense applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Machine Learning and Deep Learning models using structured data.
• Design and deploy GenAI-based systems, including LLM-powered solutions.
• Develop classical algorithms and hybrid ML/DL models.
• Optimize and fine-tune existing models according to customer requirements.
• Collaborate with technical teams (DevOps/MLOps) to deliver algorithmic solutions.
• Maintain production models, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and support complex integrations.
• Stay updated on the latest AI research and apply new methods and innovations.

Requirements

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science or Software Engineering – mandatory.
• Hands-on experience developing and implementing end-to-end ML/DL models, including LLMs – mandatory.
• Strong familiarity with GenAI systems (RAG, Prompt Engineering, Agentic workflows) – mandatory.
• Proficiency in Python with experience in NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, and PyTorch – mandatory.
• 1–2 years of experience in Data Science and/or AI Engineering – advantage.
• Experience with Transformer models and Autoencoders – advantage.
• Experience developing API layers using FastAPI/Flask/MCP – advantage.
• Experience deploying models, including Docker-based deployments – advantage.
• Knowledge of C++, C#, SQL, NoSQL, and Linux – advantage.
