We are looking for a Backend Engineer Student (2nd year) to join our Backend team.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in backend development within a large-scale production system, work with experienced engineers, and contribute to meaningful, real-world healthcare products used by thousands of providers and patients.

Responsibilities:

• Take part in the development of backend services and APIs used in our core platform.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code under guidance of senior backend engineers.
• Participate in designing and implementing new features and improvements.
• Work with databases and data models in production environments.
• Assist in debugging, testing, and improving system reliability and performance.
  
  

Requirements:

• 2nd year student pursuing a B.Sc. in Computer Science
• Strong foundation in programming fundamentals and object-oriented concepts.
• Knowledge of at least one backend-oriented programming language (e.g. Java, C#, Python, Node.js) – academic experience is sufficient.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL) and basic data structures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Availability for a part-time position (25-30h a week), with flexibility around academic commitments.
• High level of English.
  
  

Advantage:

• Prior experience in backend development (academic projects, personal projects, military/technological unit).
• Familiarity with REST APIs, Git, or cloud environments.
