Role Description

You will act as a technical leader within the team, setting architectural direction, making critical technology decisions, and working closely with product, business, and US based stakeholders.

Required Experience & Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional training (e.g., elite IDF technology units or similar background)

- At least 5 years of professional experience with Python in production systems

- Proven experience designing scalable, distributed backend architectures

- Strong knowledge of databases, including schema design and performance optimization

- Solid understanding of object oriented programming and backend design principles

- Experience building secure, scalable RESTful APIs

- Ability to take technical ownership, make design decisions, and lead by example

- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead technical discussions

Nice to have

- Strong experience with Django and Django REST Framework

- Hands-on experience with AWS or equivalent cloud platforms

- Experience with Redis for caching and performance optimization
