Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Software / Electrical Engineer to join our Data Path WiFi/BT Team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of Windows drivers for WiFi/BT connectivity solutions. You will work on complex technical challenges that directly impact the performance and reliability of wireless communication for millions of users worldwide. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Windows drivers for WiFi/BT data path components and wireless network adapters.
  • Lead performance optimization initiatives to enhance throughput, latency, and power efficiency of WiFi drivers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, firmware developers, and QA teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Debug and resolve complex driver issues related to WiFi/BT connectivity, performance, and compatibility.
  • Implement new features and enhancements based on evolving WiFi/BT standards and customer requirements.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of driver functionality across various hardware configurations and Windows versions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on driver development best practices.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications and test procedures.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging WiFi/BT technologies, and Windows driver development methodologies.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Windows driver development, preferably in networking or wireless communication.
  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming and Windows Driver Kit (WDK).
  • Deep understanding of wireless communication protocols, particularly IEEE 802.11 standards.
  • Experience with Windows kernel-mode programming and NDIS (Network Driver Interface Specification).
  • Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP) and network stack architecture.
  • Proficiency with debugging tools such as WinDbg, Driver Verifier, and network analyzers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Preferred Skills:
  • Basic understanding of wireless communication protocols and networking concepts.
  • Experience with Windows driver development or similar low-level programming.
  • Knowledge of WiFi/BT standards (e.g., IEEE 802.11,HCI) and related technologies.
  • Understanding of hardware-software interaction and embedded systems.
