AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

Key job responsibilities

  • Design and implement advanced Design-for-Test (DFT) architectures for complex semiconductor platforms
  • Develop high-quality test and debug patterns ensuring robust performance
  • Conduct comprehensive static timing analysis across multiple DFT modes
  • Verify intricate DFT logic and components with precision and creativity
  • Support silicon bring-up and device diagnostic processes

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in a semiconductor company as a DFT engineer

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with chip design, Verilog and System Verilog,
  • Experience with scan insertion tools, ATPG, gate-level simulations
  • Advanced knowledge of verification platforms including UVM test bench, FPGA, and emulator environments
  • Advanced scripting skills in Perl/Tcl
