Are you passionate about big data, AI, and building software that makes a real impact?

Varonis is looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join our UBA Threat Detection.

You’ll be working at the very heart of how we detect threats, learn the organization’s behavior and its users and protect the world’s most sensitive data.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable backend systems for detecting unusual behavior in massive datasets
• Taking end-to-end ownership of features, from design to development and deployment
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and researchers across Varonis
• Work with AI models for detection, PySpark, Databricks, and other big data modern tools
• Being part of a cutting-edge team developing high-impact detection capabilities used by enterprises around the world
  
  

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in developing enterprise-grade applications.
• Experienced in large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud environments (Azure/ AWS/ GCP)
• Experience taking end-to-end ownership of features, from design to development and deployment.
• Experience with Databricks / Spark / Python - Advantage
• Expertise in microservice architecture
