We are looking for a Wireless Communication System Engineer to join our team at ELTA!

What will you do:

• Lead the development process of digital modems across various challenging projects and wireless communication configurations.
• Drive system definition, architecture design, engineering requirements specification, and the preparation of design and testing documents.
• Oversee the system’s engineering aspects while coordinating with multiple internal engineering teams and external subcontractors, including algorithms, software, hardware, firmware, mechanics, and integrations.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Communications- Mandatory
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering – Advantage.
• Proven experience in digital modem development – Mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers and VSA – Mandatory.
• Experience in defining, specifying, and writing detailed technical design documents for firmware, software, and hardware teams.
• In-depth knowledge of digital communication and modems.
• Basic knowledge of RF systems.
• Knowledge and experience in satellite communication – Advantage.
• Knowledge and experience in cellular communication – Advantage.
