Position Title: QA Automation Engineer Reports to: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Tradeit.gg is a leading force in the virtual skins marketplace space. We're looking for a dedicated QA Automation Engineer to join our team and help us build a scalable, reliable, and high-quality platform to support our rapid growth.

What You'll Do

This is a high-impact opportunity to help build and scale our quality assurance practice. You will own the entire quality lifecycle, from refining test plans to enhancing our modern automation framework. You will be a key person responsible for ensuring we ship bug-free, high-quality products and for advancing our professional, automated testing culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the Test Strategy: Design, create, and execute formal test plans for all new features.
• Enhance Our Automation Framework: You will build, scale, and maintain our primary end-to-end automation framework (e.g., using Cypress or Playwright).
• Execute All Testing: Perform manual, exploratory, and automated testing to find bugs before they reach production.
• Integrate with CI/CD: Integrate your automated test suite into our CircleCI pipeline to create a true safety net for developers.
• Manage Defects: Own the bug-tracking process in Linear, working closely with developers to reproduce and re-test fixes.
• Test APIs: Build and maintain an API testing suite (e.g., using Postman).

Our Ideal Candidate

Must-Have:

• 3+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance role.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience building automation frameworks and writing tests in JavaScript/TypeScript (e.g., Cypress, Playwright).
• Proven experience writing clear, formal test plans and test cases.
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
• Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for quality.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI).
• Performance or load testing experience.
• Knowledge of Node.js and Vue.js application environments.
