About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Data team. Someone with strong technical expertise and a builder mindset who enjoys creating systems from scratch, challenges standard best practices and delivers real impact. In this role, you will help shape the next generation of Stampli’s data capabilities.

What You Will Do

• Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and services for analytical and AI driven use cases.
• Partner with the data team to understand business needs and deliver clean, smart and well modeled data that empowers high quality insights.
• Work with Redshift & DynamoDB to design efficient schemas, optimize performance and evolve our modern data warehouse architecture.
• Leverage AI development tools to improve data quality, automate workflows and accelerate development.
• Build new capabilities end to end, from POC to production, with strong focus on reliability, performance and visibility.
• Explore new technologies and introduce creative, unconventional solutions that improve data impact.
  
  

What You Will Bring

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or ETL Developer building large scale pipelines in a cloud environment.
• Strong SQL expertise and a solid understanding of data modeling and warehouse concepts.
• Experience with ETL or ELT tools such as Matillion, Rivery, SSIS or similar.
• Exposure to AI oriented data development such as MCPs, LLM integration, embeddings or related workflows.
• Ability to build systems from scratch, move quickly and function well in ambiguous, dynamic environments.
• A creative problem solver who enjoys pushing boundaries when traditional best practices fall short.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work closely with cross functional teams.

• Experience with Redshift and Matillion - big advantage.
• Experience with BI tools such as Qlik or Power BI - big advantage.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
