We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior PHY Software Engineer to join our team based in Kfar Saba, Israel. The role will involve active participation in the design, development, and validation of all G Physical Layer Radio Access Network technologies.

• Take an active role in the full development life cycle of PHY features, from initial design through to integration in an end-to-end system
• Implement product features in C++, using your expertise to produce highly efficient solutions
• Drive system integration of new features, working with teams in the UK, Israel, and India
• Work within a well-equipped laboratory with state-of-the-art test tools – RF equipment, UE emulators, commercial UEs
  

• Strong C and/or C++ programming expertise, with emphasis on real-time, multi-threaded software
• Experience of PHY Layer or Layer 1 for wireless communication systems (4G LTE, 5G NR, Wi-Fi, or OFDM-based technologies)
• Understanding of digital signal processing (DSP) concepts
• Hands-on experience in Linux environments, including multi-core, low-latency, and embedded systems
• Experience with SIMD programming and vectorization for performance optimisation is a strong advantage
• Familiarity with Matlab/Octave for algorithm design, prototyping, and verification is desirable
  

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Communications Engineering, or related discipline
