We are a well-funded, early-stage startup hiring our first GTM AI Engineer to build an AI-first go-to-market engine. This role owns the GTM tech stack, outbound targeting, measurement, and automation, with a focus on using AI to improve efficiency and pipeline quality. You will build high-quality ICP lists, optimize outbound sequences and demand gen channels, automate workflows, and deploy AI tools for research, personalization, scoring, and reporting. The ideal candidate is hands-on, highly analytical, experiment-driven, comfortable working with data and automation tools, and excited to apply AI to real GTM workflows in a fast-moving startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Ops & Tech Stack Ownership
- Own and manage our full marketing tech stack (CRM, sequencing tools, enrichment, analytics, list buildings).
- Integrate and automate systems to ensure clean, reliable, real-time data across GTM teams.
- Implement AI tools for outbound personalization, scoring, lead routing, and content generation.
- Evaluate, onboard, and maintain new technologies and integrations.
Outbound Targeting & ICP Precision
- Build and refine highly targeted ICP and account lists using internal data and external sources.
- Enrich account profiles using intent signals, firmographic/technographic data, and AI-driven research.
- Develop automated triggers for prospect prioritization.
Sequence Measurement & Optimization
- Analyze performance of email, LinkedIn, and multichannel outbound sequences.
- Run experiments to improve open rates, response rates, and meeting conversion.
- Build dashboards and reporting to surface actionable insights for SDR and Growth teams.
Demand Generation
- Continuously test audiences, creatives, landing pages, and bidding strategies to improve pipeline quality.
- Use AI tools to improve creative generation, targeting, segmentation, and campaign insights.
- Build reporting that connects channels to real pipeline and revenue impact.
AI Enablement Across GTM
- Deploy AI tools for research, personalization, workflow automation, and content ops.
- Build lightweight internal tools, scripts, or automations that make GTM teams faster and more effective.
- Partner with Marketing and SDR teams to produce high-quality, AI-assisted messaging.
Requirements:
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience working with AI tools; experience supporting go-to-market use cases is a plus
- A passion for AI and AI implementation
- Strong analytical skills: SQL, Python, BI tools, or no-code automation tools (Zapier, n8n, etc).
- A love for experimentation, measurement, and continuous improvement.
- Comfort implementing and using AI tools to support GTM automation and personalization.
