The role

We are looking for an experienced Principal Backend Engineer to take a leading role in developing a brand-new product from the ground up. This is a hands-on position with high ownership, where you’ll be involved in core technical decisions, architecture, and implementation from day one.

We have a strong startup DNA and value people who thrive in a flat organization, are comfortable wearing multiple hats, and enjoy combining deep technical work with real product responsibility

You will… 

• Be part of the product management team, with many opportunities to grow
• Develop modern cloud-native products with top-tier technologies
• Architect and implement sophisticated ML algorithms using Python and Java
• Work on dedicated hardware for Machine Learning
• Own feature delivery from planning through architecture, implementation, and deployment
• Take active part in building a new team from the ground up
  
  

Requirements:

Apply if you have…

• ‎ 5+ years of hands-on software development experience, with strong proficiency in Python and Java
• 2+ years as SCRUM lead or team leader
• Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity in day-to-day work
• A proven track record of building and maintaining backend systems in production environments
• Experience developing cloud-based software
• The capability to balance technical leadership responsibilities with active, hands-on development
  
  

Advantages

• Knowledge of Apache Flink or similar pipelines
• Experience with deep learning and traditional ML: PyTorch, TensorFlow, AI models , ONNX
• DevOp knowhow: Helm, Ansible, CI/CD, setting security policies, etc.
