At Equashield, we’re pioneers in hazardous drug safety, transforming how healthcare providers handle and administer medication with best-in-class CSTD and pharmacy automation robotics.
We’re looking for a Fullstack Engineer with strong JavaScript skills to help us build and maintain internal and customer-facing web applications that interface with our advanced robotic systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys clean, efficient code and wants to see their work directly impact medical safety around the world.
What You'll Do:
- Design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs using JavaScript (Node.js, Express, or .NET Core-based stacks).
- Build data models, manage database access layers, and integrate with real-time robotic and sensor systems.
- Develop lightweight web interfaces (HTML/CSS/vanilla JS) for configuration, control, and visualization of automated systems.
- Ensure secure, reliable, and efficient communication between frontend clients, embedded controllers, and cloud services.
- Collaborate with hardware, algorithm, QA, and product teams to design integrated automation workflows.
- Participate in architecture discussions, system optimization, and continuous improvement of development tools and pipelines.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code and contribute to internal best practices.
What You Bring:
- B.A./B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of experience in backend and Fullstack web development.
- Strong hands-on experience in JavaScript (ES6+), including Node.js or .NET Core for backend logic.
- Proficiency in RESTful API design, JSON-based data interchange, and asynchronous programming.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Good understanding of frontend fundamentals (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) for creating responsive interfaces.
- A mindset focused on reliability, scalability, and clean architecture
Nice to Have
- Experience working with JSON-based APIs and simple database access (SQL or NoSQL).
- Familiarity with frontend UI libraries (Bootstrap, Chart.js, or similar).
- Understanding of real-time systems, hardware integration, or robotic interfaces.
- Exposure to DevOps tools (Git, CI/CD) or cloud hosting (Azure, AWS).
- Interest in medical device software or regulated environments (ISO 13485, IEC 62304)
