We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team, responsible for verifying and validating the software that drives our innovative robotic and medical automation systems.
As part of the SQA team, you will perform hands-on manual testing, building and maintaining a new testing infrastructure, write automated tests (Server/UI), ensuring compliance with medical device quality standards and helping maintain the highest levels of safety and reliability in our products
What You’ll Do:
✅ Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional specifications and user stories.
✅ Perform functional, integration, regression, and system-level testing on multidisciplinary products combining software, electronics, and mechanics.
✅ Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and tools to support regression and integration testing across software modules.
✅ Build and enhance automation infrastructure for Equashield’s software stack, enabling scalable, efficient, and reliable automated testing pipelines.
✅ Integrate automated tests into CI/CD environments to ensure continuous quality validation.
✅ Work closely with R&D and DevOps to ensure test automation coverage aligns with development goals.
✏️ Identify, , and track software defects using Jira, Orcanos, or other industry-standard tracking tools.
✅ Prepare and maintain detailed test ation, including test plans, reports, and traceability matrices.
✅ Participate in requirements reviews, design verification, and risk analysis activities.
✅ Support software verification and validation (V&V) activities according to medical device regulations (IEC 62304, ISO 13485, FDA).
✅ Collaborate with R&D, QA, and Regulatory teams to ensure compliance, safety, and product quality.
✏️ Assist in inspection and audit preparation as part of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
What You Bring:
✏️ B.A./B.Sc. in Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
✅ 1–3 years of experience in software QA and Automation.
✅ Proven experience with QA automation tools, frameworks, and scripting (e.g., Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar).
✅ Hands-on experience in developing or maintaining automation infrastructure for testing complex systems.
✅ Experience testing multidisciplinary or embedded systems.
✅ Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect lifecycle management.
✅ Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and ation skills.
✅ Ability to work independently within a structured quality and regulatory framework.
✅ Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
✅ Experience with medical device standards such as IEC 62304, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, or IEC 60601.
✅ Familiarity with .NET applications, Windows-based systems, and automation frameworks (e.g., NUnit, PyTest, or similar).
✅ Experience implementing CI/CD testing pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps, AWS.
✅ Background in robotics, automation equipment, or motion control systems.
✅ Experience working in regulated or ISO-certified environments.
✅ Exposure to Agile/Scrum development and DevOps/CI/CD practices.
