Okoora is looking for a hands-on Head of Data & Analytics to build and lead our data foundation as a business engine – not as a supporting function. This is a unique opportunity to own Okoora’s data strategy from the ground up and transform It into a real-time decision system that drives operations, revenue, and strategic intelligence across the company.
Your mission: turn Okoora Into a company that manages itself through data.
You will work directly with the CEO and collaborate with Finance, Product, Sales, and Operations to create a unified data infrastructure and accurate, actionable insights that power our growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and own Okoora’s end-to-end data infrastructure: collection, modeling, transformation, analysis, and visualization.
- Create a single source of truth across Product, Sales, Finance, Operations, and Marketing.
- Design andמ implement core KPIs based on the Execution Engine framework (Proof, ARR, NRR, Margin, Usage).
- Manage and mentor the existing Data Analyst (Tal), ensuring accuracy, consistency, and business relevance of all data outputs.
- Develop and maintain business dashboards in **Power BI** for management and department leads.
- Lead Data Governance: data quality, permissions, and update policies.
- Deliver executive-level insights and monthly intelligence reports for leadership and investors.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to embed data-driven decision-making across all teams.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in Data / Analytics / BI / Data Engineering.
- Proven record building data infrastructure from scratch in SaaS or Fintech environments (30–100 employees).
- Deep business understanding – able to translate data into financial and operational truth.
- Strong proficiency In **SQL** and **Power BI** (mandatory).
- Experience with CRM, ERP, and accounting systems (HubSpot, Crisp, financial software, product DB).
- Knowledge of business metrics: ARR, NRR, Margin, CAC, Conversion.
- Hands-on builder mindset: perfectionism in data accuracy, ownership of results.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain data to non-technical stakeholders.
