Role Description:
We are looking for an experienced, highly skilled and motivated Emulation Engineer to join our core team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining our Palladium (or similar) emulation environment in order to enable pre-silicon verification and SW validation on our custom ASICs.
What You’ll Do:
- Work with our engineers and partners to set up, maintain, and run our Emulation system
- Create tests specific to the emulator (realistic SW workloads, for example)
- Enable our SW team to run their own tests on the emulator
- Manage vendors and/or contractors as necessary
Requirements:
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field from a recognized university
- Expert-level experience with simulation tools & flows (VCS, Verdi, NCSim and the like)
- 3+ years using Palladium or a similar emulator including setting up the environment
- Expertise porting Pre-Silicon UVM environments to work on an Emulator
- Scripting experience in Perl and/or Python is required. Coding in C/C++ would be a plus
- Experience using constrained random & functional coverage based DV methodologies
- Excellent communication skills and a strong track record of cross-functional collaboration
