Head of Space Electronics Design Department | Yehud | IAI – Missile and Space Systems Division

We are looking for a Head of Space Electronics Design Department to lead the electronics development team within IAI’s Missile and Space Systems Division.

The position includes:

• Managing and leading the department, with full responsibility for the space electronics development team

• Direct management of 12 engineers, including task definition, work allocation, and professional guidance

• Leading design and development of electronic systems and boards from requirements definition through specifications, detailed design, and electrical circuit design

• Collaborating closely with supporting engineering disciplines such as mechanics, thermal, and reliability to ensure full system integration

• Defining, executing, and managing integration tests, analyzing results, and implementing improvements according to engineering needs

What we’re looking for:

• B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering – mandatory

• At least 5 years of experience in the development of digital and analog electronic boards – mandatory

• Experience managing a development team – an advantage

• Familiarity with processors, programmable components, memory devices, and interfaces – a significant advantage

• Experience in hardware-software system integration – a significant advantage

• Familiarity with common communication protocols (1553, Ethernet, SpaceWire, SPI, UART) – an advantage
