We’re looking for a Backend Engineer who is passionate about building large-scale systems, excited by the challenge of designing services that support billions of transactions, and eager to help shape the future of Imperva’s platform.

Key Responsibility:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy distributed, scalable, and highly available microservices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code (unit, component, and contract testing).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Take part in shaping the technical direction of a key product line in our platform.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2 years of backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Java or Python.
• Basic understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Fast learner with a proactive and can-do attitude.
• Experience in cybersecurity domains – advantage.
• Familiarity with AI domains (Agents, MCPs, Workflows) – advantage.
• Familiarity with AWS, OpenSearch, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm- advantage.
• CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, ArgoCD, etc.)- advantage.
