Mertens - MalamTeam is hiring an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to join a leading healthcare organization in Central Israel.

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated DBA to manage and maintain large-scale database infrastructures, primarily in SQL Server environments. The position involves end-to-end responsibility for database performance, stability, and availability, as well as implementing replication and high-availability solutions. The role includes working in a dynamic and high-demand environment, supporting numerous servers and users, and ensuring seamless data operations across critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and optimize SQL Server database infrastructures.
• Perform Performance Tuning and Troubleshooting for high-volume environments.
• Handle setup and maintenance of replication processes and Always On High Availability environments.
• Work in large-scale, multi-server and multi-client environments (100+ servers / 1,000+ clients).
• Collaborate with system and application teams to ensure database reliability and performance.
• Provide on-call support as needed.

Requirements

• 6+ years of proven experience as a Database Infrastructure Specialist, with emphasis on SQL Server – mandatory.
• Strong experience in Performance Tuning and Troubleshooting – mandatory.
• Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructures (100+ servers, 1,000+ clients) – mandatory.
• Experience in configuring and maintaining Replication and High Availability (Always On) – mandatory.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations – mandatory.
