Autobrains is looking for an experienced Director of L4 System & Integration engineering (hands-on) to take ownership of the robotaxi (L4) platform — covering both software and hardware integration.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of 4 engineers
- Own the system architecture, software stack, and hardware integration.
- Oversee installation, setup, and bring-up of sensors, ECUs, and vehicle systems.
- Design and develop real-time infrastructure in C++ and Python.
- Collaborate closely with AI, hardware, and vehicle engineering teams to ensure full system functionality and performance.
- Drive debugging, validation, and optimization activities across the full stack.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in system or embedded development.
- 3+ years of experience leading technical teams.
- Strong skills in C++, Python, and ROS/ROS2.
- Hands-on experience with hardware integration, sensors, and vehicle systems.
- Deep understanding of system architecture and real-time performance.
