Responsibilities

  • You will seek to improve performance by refactoring existing services and flows
  • You will mentor more junior team members and help them learn and progress professionally.
  • You will collaborate with various stakeholders - product management, analysts, data engineers, customer success, and more.
  • You will contribute by owning the designing and implementing new features and enhancements and represent the team in the technical aspect during discussions and architecture roundtables
  • You will be hands-on, 70 - 80% coding
  • You will serve as the immediate go-to person within the team for any tech-related issue or discussion
  • You’ll be a good listener, while also having strong opinions on what is right
  • You’ll be fun to be around and work with :)

Qualifications

  • You have at least 8 years of hands-on experience in OOP software development (preferably Java)
  • You have Hands-on experience developing applications using Spring/SpringBoot framework and relational & non relational DBs
  • You have a good systems architectural grasp
  • You have experience with both unit and integration tests
  • You have experience in driving large-scale projects end-to-end
  • You have a strong technical background.
  • You share deep appreciation for clean and well-documented code
  • You are self-motivated, proactive and able to multitask
  • You have excellent English, both oral and written
  • You are flexible in your working hours, by working with the US on a semi-regular basis
  • You’re passionate about your work and you have a desire to push boundaries
  • You demonstrate a great “can-do” approach, creativity and learning mindset

Bonus Points

  • Familiarity with Kubernetes or similar containerized frameworks.
  • You are knowledge and experienced with AWS cloud environment and services
