We are looking for a hands-on Head of Mobile to join our R&D team in developing the new rising product in the health landscape.

As a Mobile Team Lead at Lumen, you will lead a team of developers, and together you’ll own and impact a significant part of the Lumen product. You’ll implement infrastructure and features that drive user adoption and retention, gain domain knowledge, and participate in designing and implementing our technological roadmap

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers in a multi-functional squad through the product life cycle - architecture, design, development, quality, and production
• Hands-on development and own features in the core product (Flutter app + native iOS and Android plugins)
• Take ownership of delivery commitments — ensuring features are shipped on time with the right balance of quality and business impact
• Grow, coach, and become a personal & technical mentor for the team members
• Lead/Participate in system design and architecture discussions
• Strive to continuously improve work methods, delivery, and quality together with the team
• Be a vocal advocate for technical excellence and help the team members make sound decisions
• Work with product managers, data scientists, and other developers to understand the desired requirements and impact the features we develop

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in team-building and managing people
• Strong hands-on experience in mobile development - iOS/Android/Flutter (Flutter - advantage)
• Passion for mentoring and helping people on your team grow and achieve their goals
• Strong system architecture experience and design pattern skills
• Team player, strong communication skills, empathetic
• Superior analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude
• Experience with recruiting and building a high-performance team
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Knowledge or interest in nutrition/metabolism/health - advantage
