About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Infrastructure Backend Engineer to join our R&D team in Tel Aviv. You’ll work in a hybrid and flexible environment alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry.

Our backend infrastructure primarily uses Python and Go, but we welcome talented engineers from any language background who are eager to work at scale and solve complex technical challenges.

What You’ll Work On

You’ll take part in large-scale, high-impact infrastructure projects, such as:

• Researching and running POCs to identify optimal technologies for new system requirements.
• Migrating massive amounts of user-level data into Apache Iceberg while maintaining performance and cost efficiency.
• Designing and implementing real-time data pipelines capable of processing billions of events per day (hundreds of thousands per second).
• Evaluating and integrating the best database and streaming technologies to support a rapidly growing customer base.
• Leading the design and development of a new streaming ETL product optimized for memory efficiency and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines processing billions of daily events.
• Dive deep into infrastructure technologies and optimize them for performance and scale.
• Lead initiatives from concept → design → implementation → deployment.
• Solve complex challenges in distributed systems and scalable architecture within our AWS environment.
• Work with cutting-edge tools like Kafka, Iceberg, DynamoDB, Postgres, EMR, Kubernetes, Druid, Snowflake, and more.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of hands-on backend development experience.
• Proven track record in building scalable, high-performance systems.
• Strong experience with cloud environments (AWS preferred) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Passion for infrastructure, distributed systems, and performance optimization.
