About the Role:

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Developer who’s passionate about building robust, scalable, and secure systems — and who can also take on technical leadership responsibilities.

You’ll play a key role in designing and implementing complex backend components, working closely with a world-class engineering team on cutting-edge confidential computing solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-performance backend services and APIs.
• Lead architectural design for secure, scalable distributed systems.
• Collaborate with security, product, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable end-to-end solutions.
• Mentor developers and contribute to a culture of engineering excellence.
• Own critical components of Modelyo’s confidential computing platform.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in backend development with production-grade systems.
• Expertise in one or more backend languages (Go preferred, Rust, Python, or similar).
• Deep understanding of distributed architectures, system design, and secure computing principles.
• Experience working with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerized systems.
• Strong foundation in security concepts, encryption, and secure communication protocols.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and message queues.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Confidential Computing, TEE (SGX, SEV, or similar), or low-level security architectures.
• Prior experience as a Team Lead or Tech Lead.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Kubernetes, etc.).
