About the Role:
We’re looking for a Senior Backend Developer who’s passionate about building robust, scalable, and secure systems — and who can also take on technical leadership responsibilities.
You’ll play a key role in designing and implementing complex backend components, working closely with a world-class engineering team on cutting-edge confidential computing solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-performance backend services and APIs.
- Lead architectural design for secure, scalable distributed systems.
- Collaborate with security, product, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable end-to-end solutions.
- Mentor developers and contribute to a culture of engineering excellence.
- Own critical components of Modelyo’s confidential computing platform.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with production-grade systems.
- Expertise in one or more backend languages (Go preferred, Rust, Python, or similar).
- Deep understanding of distributed architectures, system design, and secure computing principles.
- Experience working with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerized systems.
- Strong foundation in security concepts, encryption, and secure communication protocols.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and message queues.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Confidential Computing, TEE (SGX, SEV, or similar), or low-level security architectures.
- Prior experience as a Team Lead or Tech Lead.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Kubernetes, etc.).
