The Opportunity
We are seeking a technically skilled and data-driven Growth Engineer to own the implementation of our growth initiatives. In this hands-on role, you will be the engine behind our Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) efforts, transforming strategy into reality through code, analytics implementation, and deep technical problem-solving.
You will be responsible for executing technical SEO audits, improving site performance for our cutting-edge SaaS platform, implementing A/B tests, and ensuring our analytics infrastructure is robust and accurate. If you have a passion for SEO and a talent for using technology to drive user acquisition and conversion, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical SEO Implementation
- Technical Audits & Fixes: Execute deep technical audits of our web infrastructure to identify issues related to crawlability, indexability, and rendering. You will implement fixes to improve our organic search performance.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize website performance, focusing on Core Web Vitals, page load speed, and mobile-first indexing to enhance both user experience and search rankings.
- On-Page Execution: Partner with the marketing team to translate keyword and content strategy into technically sound on-page optimization, ensuring best practices for HTML structure, schema markup, and internal linking are followed.
2. CRO & Development
- A/B Testing: Code and implement A/B tests and multivariate experiments, working closely with the Product team to validate hypotheses on user behavior and conversion.
- User Journey Implementation: Develop and deploy user journey enhancements, such as triggered emails, interactive on-site elements, and conversion flows (e.g., cart abandonment logic) to improve funnels.
3. Growth Infrastructure & Analytics
- Analytics Implementation: Implement, manage, and debug our analytics and event tracking infrastructure using Google Tag Manager and custom JavaScript to ensure accurate data collection on traffic, user flows, and conversions.
- Tooling & Automation: Own the technical management and integration of our growth stack (Semrush, Google Analytics, testing platforms, etc.). Identify opportunities to automate data collection and reporting.
- Data Provision: Develop scripts and processes to efficiently export and format analytics data for various business units, providing technical context to the findings.
4. How Your Success Will Be Measured (KPIs)
Your impact as a Growth Engineer will be measured by your direct contribution to the following key metrics. We value data-driven results that clearly demonstrate the effectiveness of your technical initiatives.
- Organic Traffic Growth: A measurable increase in qualified, non-branded organic traffic to the website, measured month-over-month and year-over-year.
- Search Engine Rankings: Demonstrable improvement in Search Engine Results Page (SERP) rankings for our primary and secondary target keywords.
- Conversion Rate Improvement: An uplift in key conversion rates at various stages of the funnel (e.g., free trial sign-ups, demo requests, user activation) as a direct result of the A/B tests and user journey enhancements you implement.
- Technical Site Health: Improvement in Core Web Vitals scores, a reduction in page load times, and a decrease in crawl errors identified by Google Search Console.
