ScanMaster Systems, a global leader in ultrasonic and eddy current inspection systems, is hiring a Senior Analog Electronic Engineer to join our R&D team and work on cutting-edge industrial technologies.
Job Description
Responsible for the development, monitoring, and approval of ultrasonic hardware calibration procedures; follow-up of the manufacturing process; resolving End-of-Life (EOL) component issues; and managing the development and production of new generations of ultrasonic hardware in collaboration with subcontractors. The role may require on-site visits to resolve EMI noise problems, calibration issues, and other hardware-related challenges.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and approval of ultrasonic hardware calibration and verification procedures.
- Provide engineering support for manufacturing, calibration, and repair processes of analog and digital ultrasonic electronics.
- Monitor subcontractor activities and manage technical collaboration for the development and production of ultrasonic hardware.
- Drive development of next-generation ultrasonic hardware, ensuring design quality, manufacturability, and compliance with standards.
- Investigate and resolve hardware issues, including EMI noise, EOL component replacement, and field failures.
- Support reverse engineering tasks when required.
Education
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electronics Engineering.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in high-frequency analog electronics development, preferably in ultrasonic applications (medical or non-destructive testing).
- Solid understanding of digital electronics.
- Proven experience working with subcontractors in the development and manufacturing of electronic systems.
- Experience in EMI troubleshooting, calibration methodologies, and hardware lifecycle management is an advantage.
