Mertens - MalamTeam is hiring an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team and take part in designing, building, and supporting modern DevOps practices across mission-critical environments.

Role Overview

This role involves full responsibility for planning, implementing, and maintaining DevOps processes following industry best practices. You will implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), support secure development, apply GitOps methodologies, work in air-gapped networks, develop automation scripts, and create efficient CI/CD pipelines. The role includes collaborating with developers and cross-functional teams to streamline processes throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain DevOps processes based on best practices.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GitOps methodologies.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps preferred).
• Support secure development processes and deployment in disconnected networks.
• Write automation scripts in Batch, PS1, Groovy, Bash, and Python.
• Manage and maintain Linux and Windows environments.
• Work with Docker containers and orchestration platforms (K8s/OCP/RKE).
• Collaborate with developers and other teams to improve efficiency across the lifecycle.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps preferred).
• Strong experience with configuration management using Git.
• Scripting experience (Batch, PS1, Groovy, Bash, Python).
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows systems.
• Experience with Docker containers and orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift, RKE).
• Development background – advantage.
• Experience working in air-gapped environments – advantage.
