We are on the lookout for an awesome DevOps Team Lead to join our team at Digital Turbine. You'll lead a skilled team of engineers working on our core infrastructure, supporting a huge production operation. As a DevOps Team Lead, you'll take on complex challenges that directly impact our success.

About The Role

  • Lead and Mentor: Guide and support a team of engineers building and maintaining our core infrastructure across all cloud environments.
  • Cloud Architecture: Design and implement the company's cloud architecture across multiple cloud environments, ensuring scalability, resilience, and cost- effectiveness.
  • System Design: Conceptualize and develop architectures capable of handling hundreds of millions of active users generating trillions of daily transactions and many terabytes of dat
  • Active Participation: Collaborate with the team in hands-on development efforts, contributing a substantial portion (40% or more) to the project 'codebases.
  • Agile Collaboration: Actively participate in agile ceremonies and processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the team.
  • Efficiency and Quality: Provide innovative solutions that enhance the delivery of value to customers, reduce operational costs, and eliminate repetitive tasks (toil)
  • Collaboration: Play a significant role in designing the next-generation architecture and tools, collaborating closely with engineering teams across all disciplines to ensure seamless integrations and business continuity.
  • Operational Oversight: Assume responsibility for all operational aspects of production, staging, QA, and development environments.

About You

  • Leadership Experience: A minimum of 2 years experience as a DevOps Team Lead, demonstrating effective leadership and team-building skills
  • Devops Expertise: 4+ years as a hands-on DevOps engineer in large-scale cloud environments.
  • Cloud Management: Familiarity with managing large-scale production cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS, GCP) using industry-standard automated tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Chef).Containerization: Knowledge and experience with Docker and container orchestration using K8s
  • GITOps & CI: Familiarity with GitOps & CI best practices and tools (e.g. ArgoCD, Jenkins).
  • Monitoring: Experience in configuring and automating monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, Mimir, Telegraf, Loki).
  • Operating Systems: Solid understanding of Linux systems
  • Big Data and Messaging: Experience with big data solutions and messaging clusters is a big plus
  • Database : Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases is a bouns
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Hebrew.
