Algorithm Team Lead – Computer Vision & Image Processing
Our Missile and Space Systems Division is seeking an Algorithm Team Lead specializing in Computer Vision and Image Processing for advanced electro-optical systems. This is a unique opportunity to lead the development of cutting-edge algorithms that combine deep physical understanding with system-level thinking, addressing some of the most complex operational challenges in the defense industry.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of innovative algorithmic solutions for target detection and tracking in low SNR and challenging operational environments.
- Conduct research and evaluation of advanced technological alternatives, including the use of Deep Learning and state-of-the-art methods.
- Collaborate in multi-disciplinary core teams with system engineers, physicists, software, and firmware engineers to deliver integrated solutions.
- Perform comprehensive performance research and support the full lifecycle of algorithm integration into operational systems – from analysis to field deployment.
- Implement solutions in Matlab / C++ / Python.
- Conduct comparative performance analysis and prepare algorithmic documentation.
Requirements:
- BSc in Engineering or Exact Sciences – mandatory.
- MSc – an advantage.
- At least 10 years of experience in classical image processing and computer vision with proven expertise in Deep Learning – mandatory.
- Strong background in statistics and probability – mandatory.
- Experience in sensor fusion – a significant advantage.
- Excellent analytical skills, self-learning ability, motivation, and strong interpersonal skills.
