Join ELTA Systems’ Software Center as a Senior Real-Time Software Engineer and contribute to the development of advanced C++ applications for radar systems deployed on various airborne and naval platforms. You will work in a small, highly skilled team, integrating software with hardware and managing multiple cutting-edge projects simultaneously, with opportunities for international travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop C++ software for real-time embedded applications on VxWorks and Linux operating systems.
• Collaborate closely with a compact, high-performance team.
• Integrate software with hardware across multidisciplinary systems.
• Manage multiple concurrent real-time software projects, ensuring seamless integration with hardware and cross-functional teams.
• Travel to customer sites abroad as required.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering – mandatory.
• M.Sc. – significant advantage.
• At least 3 years of experience in real-time system development using C++ – mandatory.
• Familiarity with Git/JIRA – advantage.
• Experience with hardware-software integration in multidisciplinary systems – advantage.
• Experience with VxWorks/Linux environments – advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and system-level thinking.
• Highly motivated, flexible, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
