We are looking for a skilled System Engineer to join the Signal Processing & Computer Vision Group at MLM, part of the Missiles & Space Division at Israel Aerospace Industries. This role involves leading multidisciplinary system development for advanced electronic warfare products, with a focus on communication signal processing and real-time implementation.
Responsibilities
- Define system architecture, interfaces, requirements, and verification plans
- Lead system-level integration across algorithm, embedded software, and FPGA domains
- Perform hands-on lab work including signal analysis and debugging
- Translate algorithms into real-time implementations on hardware platforms
- Conduct simulations and performance evaluations of communication systems
- Provide technical guidance across development teams without direct managerial responsibility
- Synchronize development efforts between algorithm, embedded software, and FPGA teams
- Analyze signal quality and performance using mathematical tools and simulation environments
- Understand embedded system constraints and FPGA limitations during design and testing
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering – mandatory
- Minimum 5 years of experience in multidisciplinary system development – mandatory
- Proven hands-on experience in communication signal processing
- Experience in implementing algorithms in C/C++, Python or MATLAB
- Familiarity with FPGA development using VHDL/Verilog – advantage
- Strong understanding of embedded systems and hardware-software integration
- Experience in building or simulating transmitters/receivers – advantage
- Ability to lead technical direction and system-level thinking without direct team management
