THE ROLE
This is not just a managerial role- it’s a chance to lead a high-impact team building core products at scale. As
Engineering Manager, you’ll be a technical leader, a team builder, and a strategic partner. You’ll guide your team to deliver performance, scalable, and secure software solutions, while shaping culture, structure, and product direction. From technical design to org design, you’ll have a direct influence on how we work and what we build.
You’ll work closely with Product, Architecture, and cross-functional teams to turn ambitious ideas into clean, production-ready code - while creating an environment where engineers grow, thrive, and do their best work.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing
- Be both a highly technical contributor and an effective people leader
- Hold your own in technical discussion, be a subject matter expert in a product domain, and have strategic influence Lead team(s) that deliver on multiple projects of increasing dependencies in an ambiguous or high-impact area
- Work with your team and cross functional partners to define and influence strategy
- Drive roadmap creation and execution
- Collaborate with various functions, drive engineering initiatives and have an impact at an organizational level
- Mentor, coach, and grow your direct reports - championing career development and engagement
- Own recruitment, onboarding, and performance management for your team
- Influence engineering-wide culture, org design, and cross-functional collaboration
Requirements
What You Bring to the Table
- 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams
- 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, including API design and distributed systems
- Proven track record building and scaling high-volume, web-based solutions
- Strong experience with cloud-native infrastructure, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines
- Skilled at building consensus across departments and aligning engineering with business goals
- Experience managing full project lifecycles and technical teams, including performance management
- Excellent communication in English (written and verbal)
