abra North is seeking a skilled AS400 Developer to join a dynamic team, for one of our costumers.

This role requires strong background in AS400 programming and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.

A full time, on site position, based in Rishon Le Zion, Israel.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain AS400 applications using RPG and CL programming languages.
2. Collaborate with business analysts and other developers to gather requirements and design solutions.
3. Perform system analysis and troubleshooting to resolve production issues.
4. Write and maintain technical documentation for developed software.
5. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
6. Ensure code quality through testing and validation processes.
7. Support the deployment of software updates and patches in production environments.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in AS400 development, specifically with RPG.
• Proven experience in integrating AS400 applications with other systems.
• Strong understanding of database management and SQL on the AS400 platform.
• Experience with system analysis and troubleshooting techniques in AS400 environments.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
